In this study, the contents of a previous market study elaborated in 2003 for the projected Copalar hydro plant will be updated. IIT will be responsible for the following tasks:
• Update of the previous market study.
• Regulatory support in the design of long-term contracts to sell the produced energy.
On the other hand, Mercados Energeticos will carry out the following tasks:
• Review of the financial model.
• Support for the evaluation and potential modification of the electricity sector regulation in Nicaragua.
